1. Scope
These Terms of Use govern the use of the mobile application "LaOrana" (hereinafter "App") for iOS devices. By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms of Use.
2. Service Description
2.1 Free Features
The App offers the following features free of charge:
Photo Analysis:
- Analysis of your photo library
- Detection of similar images
- Detection of blurry images
- Detection of poor quality images
- Detection of screenshots
- Detection of large images
- Detection of burst photos
Video Analysis:
- Detection of compressible videos
- Detection of large videos (over 100 MB)
- Detection of long videos (over 5 minutes)
- Detection of short videos (under 3 seconds)
- Detection of low-resolution videos
General:
- Display of all analysis results
- Selection of media for editing
- Storage space overview
2.2 Paid Features
The following features require a one-time in-app purchase:
- Deleting selected photos and videos
- Compressing selected photos (HEIC format)
- Compressing selected videos (optimized codecs)
2.3 Business Model
- Each delete or compress action requires a separate purchase
- After completing an action, a new purchase is required for a new action
- New analyses are always free
3. Photo Library Access
3.1 Required Permissions
The App requires access to your photo library to:
- Analyze images
- Read metadata
- Delete or compress images (after purchase)
3.2 Privacy
- All analyses are performed locally on your device
- No images are uploaded or transferred to servers
- No cloud storage of your photos
- Your images remain private and never leave your device
4. In-App Purchases
4.1 Prices
Prices vary by country and currency. Below is an overview of the main markets:

4.2 Payment Processing
- Payments are processed through Apple App Store
- Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions apply
- Payment will be charged to your iTunes account
4.3 No Subscriptions
- LaOrana uses no subscriptions
- All purchases are one-time payments
- No automatic renewals or recurring charges
4.4 Restore Purchases
- Purchases can be restored via the "Restore Purchases" function
- This is free and possible at any time
5. Right of Withdrawal
5.1 Withdrawal for Digital Content
According to applicable law, there is no right of withdrawal for digital content when:
- The service has been fully provided
- You have expressly agreed that the service begins before the withdrawal period expires
- You have acknowledged that you lose your right of withdrawal through your consent
5.2 Refunds
Refunds for in-app purchases are subject to Apple's policies.
6. Usage Rights and Restrictions
6.1 License
We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.
6.2 Prohibited Use
You agree not to use the App for:
- Illegal purposes
- Reverse engineering, decompilation, or disassembly
- Circumventing security mechanisms
- Automated access or bots
- Commercial use without permission
7. Disclaimer
7.1 Warranty
The App is provided "as is". We provide no warranty for:
- Error-free operation
- App availability
- Compatibility with all devices
- Completeness of analysis results
7.2 Limitation of Liability
We are not liable for:
- Data loss (create backups!)
- Accidental deletion of images
- Quality loss during compression
- Indirect or consequential damages
7.3 Precautions
IMPORTANT:
- Create a backup of your photos before deleting
- Carefully review your selection before deleting
- Deleted images cannot be recovered (except from backups)
8. Privacy
For the processing of personal data, our separate Privacy Policy applies.

- No data transfer to servers
- Local processing on your device
- No sharing with third parties
- Minimal data collection
9. Changes to Terms of Use
9.1 Right to Change
We reserve the right to change these Terms of Use at any time.
9.2 Notification
- Significant changes will be announced in the app
- Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance
- Current version is always available in the app
10. Termination
10.1 Termination by User
You can end use at any time by uninstalling the app.
10.2 Termination by Us
We may block your access in case of:
- Violation of these Terms of Use
- App abuse
- Illegal use
11. Applicable Law
11.1 Choice of Law
The laws of the Federal Republic of Germany apply, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.
11.2 Jurisdiction
The place of jurisdiction is, to the extent legally permissible, the provider's registered office.
12. Severability Clause
Should individual provisions of these Terms of Use be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected.
